How We Support Professionals

Health care professionals are key knowledge users in patient oriented-research. At NL SUPPORT, we aim to further enhance the role of health professionals by facilitating their involvement as principal investigators and knowledge users. NL SUPPORT runs a bi-annual funding round to support health professionals in undertaking patient-oriented research or evaluation in an area of need that they or their patients have identified in clinical practice. Health care professionals are also welcome to attend any of NL SUPPORT’s training events and webinars and are encouraged to contact members of the NL SUPPORT team if they wish to discuss potential research or evaluation ideas.
